Photography Exploration:
the students took photos of a subject that changes over time as a way to capture the essence of transformation.
Our school wide theme 2010/2011 was called Photosynthesis. The theme was based on the scientific concept of growth, transformation and nature. This photography exploration was a great vehicle to explore this concept. Students learned more about how to:
1. Operate a camera,
2. Choose photographic subjects,
3. Take good quality photos,
4. Observe things as they change and be able to describe in qualitative
and quantitative ways how it’s changing, and
5. Put together a display of their images and to present it to
parents and peers.
